Panning

One of the benefits to taking a photo every day is that it forces you to be creative.  I had completely forgotten to take a photo today... right up until the sun had gone down.  I saw a large succulent plant... and quickly took some photos of it, but they were dull.  I tried another tactic... slow shutter speed and panning.  I've not had much luck with this in the past.  However, am quite pleased with the results this time.  A little practice, and I will have a new technique to add to my repertoire. ;)
