A bit of a weird weather day for Australia Day this year. It teamed rain in the morning, and then the sun came out in the afternoon, turning everything steamy and hot. A beach/bush walk, with a swim at Shark Bay (not to worry... there's a large shark net set up) seemed a good way to celebrate the holiday... from Rose Bay to Neilson Park along the Hermitage Track. Stopped at Strickland House along the way in an attempt to get a photo of the Australian flag (top photo).
