My favorite photography subject... children! To continue on with the photography lesson... next subject is Balance. ( I am finding this one hard to understand...) Balance is an equal relationship between two or more things. A photograph is balanced when the various elements "weigh" the same. A photograph needs to be balanced, so that there isn't so much negative space that the eye gets lost. This effect is called "dead space". (I see why I don't understand this... and I think I am guilty of doing it with my pictures. That's why they end up boring!)
